RMR Football is excited to continue its partnership with the NFL/NFL Canada to bring NFL Flag Football to the region with our third fall season of the Kootenay Football League!

Kootenay Football League NFL FLAG - FALL 2025 Information

Who: Current grade 4-9 students in two divisions (Gr. 4-6 / Gr. 7-9 (CBK Gr. 7-8))​

Dates/Times:
-
Practices will be 1-2 day per week and will be determined by local coaches. Changes may occur if a different date and time serves better in a particular location. Once coaches are registered and availability is confirmed, we will post the practice days.

Current game weekends/mini tourneys are being finalized for five Sundays in September/October (no long weekend games). Their locations will be determined based on teams registered. The first 4 weekends will be played regionally (East/West) where possible. See below for new information on the Fall Kootenay Bowl.

Includes NFL Flag Jersey, shorts, flags, ball, insurance, and covers all tournament fees. ​-

2025 Kootenay Bowl - Oct. 18/19
Like we did in 2024, our Kootenay Bowl will be featured over a two-day event (Saturday & Sunday - Oct. 18-19) to include a more robust round-robin schedule with breaks, an all-star event, season awards presentation, and a Sunday playoff bracket. This goes away from the norm of our one-day only events, but as we continue to grow in numbers, more time to play games, and the opportunity to have fun events incorporated into the weekend were areas we want to explore. More details to come, but we wanted to flag that change and hear any feedback!
